Summertime Saga is a slightly risqué visual novel where you control a young man attending high school. The game begins when the protagonist's father dies and, to the surprise of the entire family, it is revealed that he had some sort of agreement with a group of mobsters. After the funeral, you will see that these mobsters are involved in something big, and it directly affects you. So, to keep you and your family safe, you have to head to the city to investigate. But of course, as this plays out, a number of different opportunities will arise.

An open world with lots to discover

Unlike other adventures in the genre, Summertime Saga is not linear. You do need to complete some of the key plot points in order, but in general, you can visit different parts of the city at your leisure, interacting with different characters and establishing all the personal relationships you want. The game even features a day-night cycle, so once you have completed a few actions, you will have to go home and sleep before you can move on to the next day.
